Yes, dry or wet sand will easily come off of our towel because there is no pile (loops) on our polyester and polmaid material. Shake off, machine wash and dry.
The smooth surface of our polyester and polymaid smooth material has no pile (loops) so sand won't stick or stay stuck on the surface. You can easily give a shake to have sand brush off the surface and machine wash & dry.
Our towel is compact and smushable but when opened, oversized at 70" diameter. The towel is reversible as well with 2 different colored stripes on each side - Sage and Dove. It also includes an elastic band that makes it easy to roll up and pack for travel.
